So if an artist does a tasteful portrait of a married couple cuddling and there is a hint of cleavage showing that artist gets their work deleted and a nasty note sent off to them...

But STEAL art work and report it and nothing happens...

Even the title says it all....

This belongs to SailorX (also a member of DA but I can't locate her journal at the moment) it's her fanart of her story Kagome and the Pirate Capt InuYasha, Silver Hanyou.

(don't contact her... you won't be acknowledged.. I know.. I've contacted her before about her story being stolen a few times...)

Plus there is another piece that belongs to another artist (I think I know who it is... but I can't find any links)

Go figure....

I'm disappointed.

I know, it doesn't seem like anyone cares about stolen work. I think this is just some punk kid using this site as a ';post my favorites as my own' place. Even after being told, they'll just make another name up and do it all over again. :(

I'm glad that I haven't had anyone steal any of my artwork or stories yet...and I plan to keep it that WAY! My artwork is way too complex to even copy...

Hope that this loser gets kicked off of DA.

BLOODY IMMORAL! I think that we DA artists and writers should deal with this problem on our own... and good luck with that.

These creeps JUST don't GET it that they're stealing someone else's hard work without giving proper credit.
